We have several captive bred spurthigh tortoise hatchlings currently available. They are very well started active eaters with hardened shells. They are feeding on a variety of spring mix collard greens, mustard greens, and romaine lettuce. Given their young age, their sex remains undetermined. They must be kept in a protected indoor environment. At maturity, these tortoises will grow to be quite large. When properly cared for, they will provide a lifetime of enjoyment.
These tortoise is readily eating a variety of lettuces, sweet potatoes, and assorted greens! These tortoises do quite well outdoors in Florida provided they have adequate shaded areas and are kept dry during rainy seasons.
Our captive bred Leopard tortoise hatchlings are at least one month old and actively eating. Typical ages range between 3 and six months. Given their young age, their sex remains undetermined and they must be kept in a protected indoor environment. When properly cared for, they will provide a lifetime of enjoyment.
Occasionally available, our yearling redfoot tortoises are at least one year old and range up to two years old. These are very well started and are still too young to determine their sex. Also, they need to remain within an indoor enclosure with just short periods of closely monitored outdoor exposure during warm weather.
