Central American Painted Wood turtle (Rhinoclemmys pulcherrima manni)

These painted wood turtles were captive bred in Florida.  They are feeding on commercial pellets.  Unlike aquatic turtles, the painted wood turtle doesn’t require water in order to swallow its food.
