Hog Island Boa (boa constrictor imperator)
The Hog Island boa is a morph of the common northern boa subspecies (B. c. imperator). It is somewhat smaller and calmer in demeanor than others within the subspecies. It also has lighter coloration. These snakes are found in the wild in two small islands -the Cochinos Cays (Cayo Menor and Cayo Grande) off the northern shores of the Honduras.
